Main cities in Hawaii are broken down by population and tourist interest. The most important is the Island of Oahu, where you will find the capital of Hawaii, Honolulu. Then there is Maui, the Big Island, and Molokai Island, as well as Kauai, and Lanai.

There are many municipalities on each island, mostly without excessive population, as the whole cluster of islands only has 1.5 million people distributed throughout, of which Oahu is by far the most populated with over half of the total population. The most populated city on Oahu is Honolulu.
